Description

Learn Administrative Divisions of China (中国行政区划), including the names of Chinese provinces (省份), municipalities (直辖市), and autonomous regions (自治区). The list of the Chinese provincial capital cities (省会) is included in the book. Further, since each Chinese province has at least 1 short name (简称), the short names has been included in the book. Well, the short names of the provinces have huge cultural significance in China. For example, the short name of Jiangsu province is Su (苏), hence the number plate of all buses in Jiangsu contains the character (苏). In fact, in all Chinese provinces, the number plates include the short name of the province where the vehicle was registered.
